Mentor Training

Mentorship Training Croydon

Mentorship is the foundation of growth in Speakers of Croydon. Our new members are assigned a Mentor to help them get the most possible from the club and the speaking and leadership opportunities on offer.

Everyone needs guidance and practical support to succeed and your Mentor is there to ensure you learn, achieve and grow. It’s extremely important to mentor and guide new members but it doesn’t stop there. Some of our most experienced members can benefit from mentorship by another member with a specific skillset. You can easily go beyond the club environment when looking for a Mentor as our Toastmasters network is interactive and supportive.

Mentoring Opportunities

If you are interested in becoming a Mentor or practising mentoring skills there are loads of opportunities. You could start by supporting a new member yourself and there is even a Pathways Mentoring Programme to guide you.

As you become more experienced you may want to explore the possibility of becoming a Club Mentor. This role is aimed at helping a new club to succeed. The ultimate benefit of Toastmasters membership is becoming someone who can help others become competent leaders and communicators.
