Last night was the first in-person meeting of the new term and it did not disappoint. @~Andrew made sure we all got in the groove as TM for the evening with energy and poise despite only taking on the role the day before! We were then treated to four fantastic prepared speeches delivered by:
- @Chris Bovell with some great advice on giving effective evaluations,
- @~Eamonn who told us that effective sales is about building genuine relationships
- @~Scott told us about his fascination with reverse engineering of UFO’s!
- @~Paul Cavalo took us through the 5 stages of the Assault Cycle from his time working in mental health
These speeches were followed equally exceptional evaluations! @Adrian Moore led us through a series of thought provoking table topics which saw lots of member and guest engagement!
Winners on the night were Eamonn (best speaker), @~Lydia (best evaluator) and a whopping three people won best table topics being @Smita Soc Tm and then our two guests Alex and Hannah.
Our next meeting is online on 30 July so please help Smita out and volunteer for roles rather than having to be asked
