We had an amazing evening on the 22nd of February where we hosted our annual club level International Speech and Evaluation Contest. The contest was chaired excellently by Trudy Kuhn who kept us on the edge of our seats throughout the night with anticipation of the amazing speakers.
The speech contest didn’t disappoint with wonderful and entertaining speeches ranging from dating advice for singles, our addiction to mobile phones and many more. For our evaluation contest, we were thoroughly entertained by our guest speaker Simon Maggs from Bromley Speakers who kept us constantly laughing throughout his speech as he gave us marriage advice but then also gave us much food for thought in our discussion after his speech when he revealed that Toastmasters has been the source of helping him progress further at work
